Question: How does this go into the ground? Sprouts up or sprouts down?Last year I left some potatoes on the counter and they sprouted. Instead of throwing them away I pushed them into the soil around herb pots I had on my porch. I had a nice unexpected harvest of red potatoes in about a month. But I forget how I put them in the soil. Does anyone know? Thank you!

When they first started budding, I wasn't sure if they were roots or leaves.
