Every year on Christmas Eve our neighborhood puts out bags of sand with lighted candles. This year the luminaries sat on 3 feet of snow. A shimmery sight!
Our town does this for the holiday festival. Our main street is lighted by the luminaries and our trees are lighted by holiday lights. Almost every shop has live music and displays. There are horsedrawn carriage rides and more. It's wonderful.
