I think I'm going to buy some rye and sprout it and try a bread like German pumpernickel. Rye will be the only ingredient. I can't wait.Bixhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06263963508785739508noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8472697.post-74960458583513792122012-04-28T11:00:19.642-04:002012-04-28T11:00:19.642-04:00I love the mediaeval illustrations on Grindstone&#...I love the mediaeval illustrations on Grindstone's website!Angela and Melindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01595787896658046091noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8472697.post-53615657444141484192012-04-28T10:58:41.249-04:002012-04-28T10:58:41.249-04:00Hi Bix, you might want also to check out Four Worl...Hi Bix, you might want also to check out Four Worlds Bakery (closer than California!). They specialize in naturally fermented breads made from freshly milled grains (they mill a lot of the grain right at their store). I got to know the guy when I was still part of Selene Co-op, and it's very good bread. See here: http://fourworldsbakery.vpweb.com/About-the-Bakery.html; and see also here: http://fourworldsbakery.vpweb.com/About-the-Bakery.html<br />Not sure if you'd be interested in these or not. He does use yeast in the fermentation process.Angela and Melindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01595787896658046091noreply@blogger.com
