And it keeps its leaves throughout winter so it's ideal for nest building come Spring. I always find an old nest in it.Bixhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06263963508785739508noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8472697.post-18570650622687622772012-05-10T12:28:12.056-04:002012-05-10T12:28:12.056-04:00Very interesting nest and beautiful eggs. I feel awful going in and out and watching them flee in terror.

We have a wad a crinkled aluminum foil wrapped around the top of our hanging porch light to discourage nest building there.Bixhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06263963508785739508noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8472697.post-11893110490522414492012-05-10T11:25:00.999-04:002012-05-10T11:25:00.999-04:00The bit about weaving blooms into the nest reminds...The bit about weaving blooms into the nest reminds me: At one point, years ago, my wife hung a decorative basket on the outside of our front door. It had (fake) flowers and such in it.

We ended up swinging a nest and baby birds for weeks. . .

shauncaulfieldkidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05220688207706880140noreply@blogger.com
