New clinical guidelines for diagnosing diabetes now include use of HbA1C. A1C ≥ 6.5% is diabetes. A1C 5.7-6.4% is pre-diabetes. Diabetes Care

Fish oil prevented progression to full-blown psychosis in young people at high risk for schizophrenia. Even more compelling: Although they took fish oil for only 3 months, the effect did not wear off up to 7 months later. Wall Street Journal, Abstract
(How do we know an omega-3 supplement isn't offsetting high omega-6 intake? Such that the n6:n3 ratio wasn't the determining factor? In fact, the ratio significantly improved, went down, in the fish oil group, and the change in ratio was associated with mental improvement. We need to focus on assessing omega-3 relative to omega-6, not as an absolute number, and investigate reduction of omega-6 as a treatment option.)

Bill Marler is getting ready to sue the USDA because they won't say that the same chemical, shiga toxin, that makes E. coli O157:H7 life-threatening also makes lots of other bacteria life-threatening, i.e. is an "adulterant."

By the way, this omega-3 study did not find fish oil helpful for depression, as I've seen some outlets reporting. There was no difference in depressive symptoms between those taking fish oil and those taking placebo.
